Sensor City
Liverpool, England
Novum designed, supplied, fabricated, and installed a glass veil which wraps around two side elevations of Sensor City. The project utilizes Novum's Architecturally Exposed Steel System and Point Supported Glass System adding an extremely high-end aesthetic to the building.
Marriott Marquis
Washington, DC, USA
This project consisted of cantilevered glass and steel canopies. Its location near the nation's capital provided challenges; the owner wanted the canopies to withstand a potential bomb blast while remaining elegant. Novum's engineering team used dynamic analyses to ensure that both the steel and glazing could withstand the required loads.
Phillips 66
Houston, Texas, USA
Novum engineered, fabricated, and installed this custom freeform skylight. Novum collaborated with the architects to develop a surface that could achieve the required span as a single layer structure. Novum's systems approach using bolted nodal connections enabled us to automate the fabrication of the structure, which contained over 800 steel beams.
Swissotel Resort Bodrum Beach
Bodrum, Turkey
This 5-star hotel features a transparent atrium between two towers. The two facades forming the vertical enclosure adopt structural glazing braced by glass fins. The fins are braced laterally by tension rods. The beautiful atrium space was executed as a single source by Novum using our GG, PSG, and TR systems.
Star of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International
The Aquadome structures for Royal Caribbean's Icon Class ships span over 3,000 m2 of structural glazing and weighing 362 tons, it's designed as both an architectural centerpiece and a functional environment. The Aquadome integrates advanced steel and glass systems engineered for marine durability, optical clarity, and thermal efficiency.
