About

This Work

An impressive canopy spanning along an elliptical curve consists of concrete columns with steel beams and point supported glass. This thoughtfully designed canopy was engineered to meet the desired aesthetics. At the column locations, wide flange outriggers cantilever between the curved wide flange and double channel beams. The custom channel section helped the connection for the WT purlins to be minimally visible by using plates mounted inside the channels.
