About
This Work
A structural glass canopy provides shelter to its patrons at this exclusive luxury residence in Miami, Florida. The sleek and sophisticated entrance canopy spans 108’-4” in length, with approximately 20’-0” of cantilever at its center and approximately 10’-0” of cantilever at its sides. The canopy is structurally supported using curved HSS outriggers with HSS purlins spanning between. Circular steel props attach back to the main building structure to provide additional support for the outriggers. The underslung glass is attached to the steel using Novum’s Point Supported Glass System with painted steel glazing arms.
