Imperial West: Glass Façade

London, UK

About

This Work

Novum was contracted to design, supply, fabricate and install a stunning glass façade at Imperial College’s White City Campus Molecular Sciences Research Hub. The building utilises a Linear Supported Glass system for the façade and uses a Point Supported Glass system for the lantern at the top of the building. The overhanging lantern proved to be a particularly challenging installation in terms of lowering the soffit panels into place. Novum quickly overcame this issue by working closely with our operations team to ensure that we could use our specialist rope access to lower the panels successfully, ensuring that the architect’s vision could become a reality.
