About
This Work
Novum engineered, fabricated, and installed multiple speciality glazed structures for the Lenox Square Façade Renovation project located in Atlanta, GA. There are two (2) specific scope elements on the project, the Main Entrance, and the Nieman-Marcus Entrance “Eyebrow”. The Main Entrance, located on the North façade, consists of a canopy, a wall, and a roof/skylight; all of which are curved in appearance. The canopy measures approximately 44’-5.5” by 36’-8” in plan, and curves down at the centre where a gutter is located for drainage. The glazing sits above the structural steel (Novum’s Architecturally Exposed Steel System) and is attached via Novum’s Point Supported Glass System. The wall measures approximately 54’-0”, at its tallest point, by 45’-9” wide in elevation. The wall bows out at the centre where multiple doors are located. The roof/skylight measures approximately 45’-9” by 8’-7” at its widest point in plan, and curves down at the centre. The Nieman-Marcus Entrance, located on the West façade, has a small “Eyebrow” canopy which is supported by steel pipe props from above. The canopy measures approximately 19’-9” wide by 5’-6” deep at the sides and has curved back and front edges. Novum’s Point Supported Glass System secures the glass to the steel support tubes below.
