About

This Work

The architect contracted Novum to design and build an immense seven canopy space frame structure in an extremely short period of time with a very limited budget. Within five days, Novum engineers developed a comprehensive geometry of a factory-finished structure that featured a point supported structural glass lid. Glass was used structurally, supporting each panel at four points above each node of the 11,000 tube space frame. More than 15,000 ft. of silicone was used between glass panels. Extensive preparation, subcontractor coordination and a constant Novum presence through six day workweeks allowed this project to be completed on time, error free and within budget.
