About
This Work
Novum was contracted to furnish and install glass and steel for a multifaceted project which included a lobby cable façade, an exterior glass and steel canopy and a glass balustrade as part of the One York Street development in Toronto, Ontario. Stainless steel tension cables elegantly provide support for the façade and the glass attaches to the tension cables with Novum’s Point Supported Glass System. The glass and steel canopy runs along all elevations of the lobby façade and the glazing is suspended from the structure using point supported glass. The gorgeous balustrade sits above the head of the lobby at the podium terrace and provides a stunning feature to the overall look and feel of the building.
