About
This Work
Novum was contracted to engineer, furnish, and install glass and steel for two (2) Façades at the Park District Building in Dallas Texas. Both Façades are L-shaped in plan and include a Vestibule. The West Façade measures approximately 71’-2” long x 35’-3” tall x 2’-6” deep. The East Façade measures approximately 40’-0” long x 19’-3” tall x 8’-11” deep. The Vestibules measure approximately 10’-0” wide x 10’-0” deep x 10’-0” tall. For the Façades, glazing is supported off of suspended steel girts via Novum’s Edge Clamped Glass System (ECG-System). For the vestibules, glazing is supported by a steel structure via Novum’s Point Supported Glass System (PSG-System). This project was truly one that was filled with excitement and intrigue for all teams involved!
