Sangerhausen, Germany

About

This Work

Sangerhausen is famous for its great rose garden, Rosarium. A recent renovation included the addition of an amphitheater to protect the audience from rain and sun. Novum’s scope included the design, concrete work for the foundation, manufacture of the membrane and steel and erection of the membrane structure. The membrane roof is created with a biaxial tensioned single layer of PVC Type-4. The roof has a double curved structure with two high points and six edge points. Fantastic coordination amongst the Novum teams allowed this project to be completed in less than 100 days.
