About

This Work

Novum collaborated with the architect to develop a glazing solution with minimal structure for two walls of the Booth Western Museum addition. Novum engineers were able to achieve the architect’s objective of having expansive, transparent walls that incorporated an adjacent stone façade and mechanical ductwork. Because the glazing consisted of large, insulating glass panels supported by tension cables, special details were developed by Novum to allow for large deflection. The result is a striking, bright, open space that is perfectly suited for displaying modern art.
