About
This Work
Located in the Jingan District of Shanghai, Yueda 889 Square is a striking, mixed use complex with a distinctive, spoon-shaped roof that was designed, furnished and installed by Novum. The glass roof has become the building’s trademark connecting an open air plaza with a high rise office tower. Various frit patterns are used to create the effect of floating petals on the surface of the form. Lights are integrated within the nodes. Use of Western engineering and Chinese production enabled Novum to complete this project on time and within budget.
