This Work
Novum was contracted to develop and install a sustainable design lobby wall for the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) headquarters building. The L-shaped wall utilizes sunshades to allow maximum sunlight into the lobby in winter and shade the windows in summer. To achieve this, ten rows of 3 ft. deep horizontal glass fins span the exterior of the façade. Use of the latest technology for sustainable design qualifies the project for a LEED Gold Certificate.
