About
This Work
One of four buildings in a multi-block complex, Foundry Square I features a lightweight double-wall façade, L-shaped in plan with all glass corners. Novum assisted the architect to create the sustainable design using large panel point supported glass for the outer façade. The glass panels attach to suspended vertical pipes to create a wall cavity which also serves to reduce exterior noise levels. Pivoting stainless glazing arms were specially designed to handle large seismic drift movements. Interior and exterior cleaning systems are an integral part of the design.
