About

This Work

HOK designed the Indianapolis International Airport, a complex that includes a two level terminal located in between two runways. Novum was chosen to engineer the low rise double curved skylight above the Civic Plaza in the heart of the terminal. The impressive 200 ft. diameter skylight is supported by steel beams and tension cables. Laminated, insulating glass with a reflective coating is linearly supported 60 ft. above the Civic Plaza allowing natural light into the space below while achieving energy efficiency through solar control.
