This Work
Novum was contracted to engineer, furnish and install an ETFE air filled pillow roof over a large common area . Long bow trusses with up stands welded to their tops support the aluminum profiles which clamp four air filled pillows in place. The top layer of each ETFE air filled pillow is white, creating a diffused light into the campus space below. Modifying the orientation of the air filled pillows from the original concept enabled Novum to offer the client significant savings and improve the installation timeline, resulting in an early completion within budget.
