This Work
Utilizing a hybrid of Novum’s BK and KK nodal systems, Novum created a durable, lightweight and attractive barrel vault spaceframe structure to span over the North Lake College Aquatic Center swimming pool in Irving, Texas. To help transmit the lateral load to the ground, stainless steel tension rods were used as bracing in the end walls which were glazed with Novum’s Edge Clamped Glass System.
