About

This Work

Novum engineered, fabricated, and installed a large glass and steel skylight for the Tower Hill School in Wilmington, DE! Rectangular in plan, the skylight measures approximately 113’-8.5” long by 46’-3.5” wide. The structural support consists of rectangular HSS columns, beams, and purlins. The primary beams running in both directions create moment frames to help keep the reactions at the column bases to an acceptable level. Novum’s Point Supported Glass System is utilized to support the beams and purlins from above.
