About

This Work

Novum’s scope included curtain walls on the north and south sides, seven glass floor bridges and one interior point supported glass wall. For the glass bridges, the architect initially selected a square patterned, acid etched glass that provided ridges for traction control, but this type of glass exceeded their budget. To solve the traction control issue in a cost effective way, Novum worked directly with the glass fabricator to design a glass with a similar square pattern, but with a traction control frit, instead of acid etching.
