Novum was contracted to engineer, furnish, and install glass and steel for a structurally glazed Stair Enclosure at the University of Washington Life Sciences Building in Seattle, WA. The enclosure is comprised of two (2) walls and one (1) roof skylight utilizing Novum’s Architecturally Exposed Steel, Tension Rod, and Point Supported Glass Systems. The walls are located at the South and West elevations, they are straight in plan and plumb in elevation. The stair enclosure was part of a stunning renovation for students and faculty to enjoy while learning and working at the university.
