About
This Work
“The World of Coca-Cola® welcomes visitors with an impressive 62 ft. tall tower that soars above the entrance. Novum was contacted by the architect to develop this feature which contains a suspended bottle surrounded by point supported glass. Intended to replicate an ice block, the glazing has a ceramic frit pattern to simulate a frosted finish that gradually fades to clear at the top of the tower. The glazing is supported by a tension structure with stainless steel cables and horizontal laminated glass fins. At night the tower is illuminated, a stunning
addition to the Atlanta skyline.”
